Our Impact

True resilience isn’t built in silos - it requires inclusivity, education, and a commitment to supporting those who need it most.

That’s why we’ve embedded social impact into our business model, dedicating a portion of our time and resources to pro-bono initiatives.

Through our grass roots initiatives, we are committed to driving meaningful change by making cyber security accessible, understandable, and actionable for all. By dedicating our time and resources, we provide free training and support to individuals and communities, empowering them with the skills to navigate an increasingly digital world safely and contributing to a more secure future for everyone.

Explore some of these initiatives below.

Regional Workshop Series (2024)

Our Regional Workshop Series brought cyber security training directly to underserved communities, empowering individuals and businesses with the knowledge and tools to stay secure in an increasingly digital world.

These free, hands-on workshops focused on practical, accessible skills, to support participants in building resilience against cyber threats. This program formed the basis of the pilot for the Regional Impact Initiative: Act Now, Stay Secure.

Regional Impact Initiative: Act Now, Stay Secure

This program is a grass roots cyber security education program tailored for regional South Australians.

Through community workshops, hands-on training, and a train-the-trainer model, we are equipping individuals, small businesses, and local leaders with the knowledge to improve their digital literacy and cyber security maturity.

This initiative has been supported by additional funding from the Department of Home Affairs.

Cyber Security: Port Pirie & Kadina Career Expo

As part of our Regional Impact Initiative: Act Now, Stay Secure, CYBR hit the road to bring cyber awareness directly to the Career Expo.

Through interactive mini-workshops and hands-on challenges, we connected with over 100 students, jobseekers, and local businesses, making cyber safety feel practical, relevant, and part of everyday life.

These events are just one step in the broader initiative launching in July 2025 to build lasting cyber capability in underserved communities.

A secure future for all.

We believe that a stronger national cyber security posture starts with inclusion. Protecting the nation means ensuring that everyone - regardless of background or circumstance - has access to the knowledge and tools they need to stay secure.
